About

Chelsea earned a Bachelors from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO. before making the move west to San Francisco, CA. a decade ago. Chelsea completed her Masters degree in Marriage & Family Therapy and Art Therapy from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, CA. She interned for a year at an elementary school in San Mateo, CA utilizing art therapy in working with children with emotional dysregulation, family issues, and behavior issues. Chelsea also worked as a Primary Therapist at the Lotus Collaborative, a treatment center specializing in eating disorders in San Francisco.

I believe that the use of art in therapy can be a powerful tool to express thoughts and feelings that sometimes cannot be verbalized, as well as being an extension of the authentic self. My goal is to walk alongside clients to get in touch with their true self so they can genuinely live life.

I show up in the therapeutic relationship with an intention to help facilitate process and move anxiety, trauma, depression, and negative self-worth in order to build insight into ones core beliefs, and restore balance between the mind, body, and spirit. I work with individuals, couples, families children and adolescents, and I believe there is creativity, reflection and expression inside of everyone and for some it is easier to communicate without words. I bring warmth and energy to the room because I am passionate about empowering people to access their true potential.
