IFS & Art Therapy

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story can make all the difference.

Somatic Internal Family Systems

It’s one thing to talk about parts of yourself, it’s another to access them, feel them, and heal them.

I recognize just how important self-work is, how important relationships are, and how little we are taught about how to do them!

I want to know what lights you up, I want you to have space to be messy in therapy.

In therapy with me you can deep listening, compassion and direct feedback about places in which defenses are up.

I show up as myself, I’ll talk to you like a normal person, sometimes we laugh, sometimes i’ll say fuck! I want to model healthy human connection and vulnerability for my clients so i might share my own emotional experiences.

I bring levity to situations that can sometimes feel overwhelming or heavy.

Through the process I will do what I can to assist you in personal growth to make space for shifts that allow you to feel more connected, free, alive, vibrant, peaceful, mindful, self-compassionate, safe, creative, loving, kind, calm, in-love, confident, self-reflective, and honest. Checking in with your body, building insight and awareness to interpret your body’s cues, developing a dialogue with your body in sessions, and understanding what your body needs to feel safe.

IFS or Internal Family Systems is a therapeutic model created by Dick Schwartz that is sometimes referred to as “parts work”. We all contain multitudes! Multitudes of parts, or emotions, experiences, traumas, stories etc. IFS helps to bring insight to those parts of yourself. Those little spiritual beings inside of you who are so desperately seeking answers, control, help, love, relief, understanding, a parent figure to lead the system. That parent figure is YOU. You have the power to heal your parts and yourself.

Rates: $230 per 50 minute session.

I am happy to provide a receipt (called a superbill) at any time upon request which you can submit for reimbursement from your insurance provider.
